Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa of Calcutta

I had the blessing to meet Mother Teresa and
her Missionaries of Charity in a trip to India
during 1996. I visited her Mother House in Calcutta,
where I had an incredible time.
As soon as I got into the house I met Mother Teresa
who was greeting people. She talked with me for a while,
blessed me, Indian style, by hitting me in the forehead
with the open palm of her right hand. She asked me who
I was, where was I staying, where I was from, etc.
She asked me to come back at the end of my trip and
gather some mail for the sisters of the convent in
Los Angeles, which I gladly did. I stayed in the
Mother House all day, and participated in the
evening mass. During mass the sisters looked very much
in pure bliss, their eyes, their way of being reflected
some inner peace, which I wanted to feel and absorve.
I am very happy to have met Mother Teresa, because
I believe she was a saint.

Since her passing I've been looking for ways
to honor her by publishing on the Web, information,
poems, sayings and pictures about her. Most of
this is yet to be accomplished.
